There has been a noticeable movement within the past decade of Fimo, or plastic clay, art and I have decided to jump on the band wagon. I was inspired by a fellow artist to attempt freeform bead and pendant making with natural implications. My obsession for black light art stems from the sea, with extreme influences from jellyfish and squid. The way they light up the depths of the ocean with their bioluminescence is beyond fascinating and absolutely beautiful! I decided that the element to differentiate my jewelry from the masses would be this and dug right in. Some of it glows on its own, while all pieces are UV reactive. This album contains the fruits of my labors and is an evolving token of my love and respect for multi - faceted inspiration.
